BEATRICE, Nebraska-It was a passion for retail display and design that led to the formation of The Store Kraft Manufacturing Company nearly a century ago.

Store Kraft's earliest beginnings can be traced to the innovative and creative thinking of one man-the company's founder, William B. Morton. In 1911, E.J. Hested invited Morton to move to Nebraska to start the Hested Stores Co., a variety chain which grew to more than 100 stores throughout the Midwest.

As demand grew for Morton's store display and furnishing ideas, Morton, Hested and Jess Lee formed a small corporation in 1920 that came to be known as The Store Kraft Manufacturing Company. The first product was a bulk candy display case.

The innovative spirit of The Store Kraft Company continues to this day and has made Store Kraft a worldwide designer and manufacturer of store furnishings and kiosks for all market sectors, including retail, hotel and hospitality, medical and banking.

Today, Store Kraft's 450,000-square-foot facility in Beatrice, Nebraska, in partnership with its plants in China, Brazil and Mexico, project manage, manufacture, assemble and distribute store furnishings and kiosks efficiently and economically in the United States and around the world.

The company's 5Stat technology division, and its Chinese subsidiary, Gaohuo, in Shanghai, China, add to the company's abilities to meet the demands of today's global marketplace.
